Meet Coach Julie


Julie is a graduate of Niagara University and South Portland High School and is one of the very few former Division I college softball players currently coaching in Maine.

Julie graduated from South Portland High School is 2008 and compiled lofty statistics and several awards. Her senior year she completed the season with a 0.53 ERA. She was the Forecaster 2008 Spring player of the year, awarded MVP Senior for Class A and three year All-State 1st team for pitcher and first base.

After her stellar high school career, Julie took her considerable talents to Niagara University and continued to perform as a 4 year starter for the Eagles. Julie threw two no-hitters, led her team in wins, complete games, strikeouts and innings pitched and was named second team all-conference (MAAC) and also to the MAAC all-tournament team. Julie holds the record at NU for the most wins in a single-season.

Julie completed her Master's in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern Maine and is an Occupational Therapist with a background in child development in birth-5 and upper extremities.

Julie resides in Windham, Maine with her husband Josh, three children Natalie, Camden, Nora.

When not doing softball, you can find Julie creating memories with her family searching for the best seashells at the beach or a road trip up and down the coast, enjoying the beautiful Maine coastline.
